The motivations and ways of joining the UCP, and therefore getting involved in politics, are as numerous as they are varied.

The party defends several values based on democracy, the moralization of political life, meritocracy, living together, social well-being and economic development, all beyond the borders that can restrict the individual and collective development of Algerian citizens.

The party counts a large number of members at the national and international level ; these militants activate in their own way and participate effectively in the dissemination of the principles and ideals of the party. Thus, they bring real added value to the UCP.
