Income inequalities have increased in Algeria in recent years. Significant disparities in wealth among different segments of society threaten equality, social cohesion, and the overall well-being of the society. We do not endorse economic or social policies that lead to an exacerbation of income inequalities. Income disparities must be reduced, notably by improving the livelihoods of the most disadvantaged and providing them with better employment opportunities, as well as by increasing taxes on the wealthiest members of society. UCP will pursue an ambitious policy to alleviate these inequalities by leveraging the resources of the state.
